Bali Travel Guide Pt.1 – Hotels/Villas

26 Jul Bali Travel Guide Pt.1 – Hotels/Villas

Hey Guys,

As y´all probably know, Nathalie and I visited Bali (Indonesia) about one month ago. We really had a great time there and would definitely travel to Indonesia again. Many of you asked where (Villas/Hotels) we stayed, so I decided to put this into a little „Bali Travel Guide“ blogpost for you guys. Here are my recommendations:

1. Indah Homestay Bali

This was our first stop on Bali. We spontaneously booked this homestay via AirBnB since we were really tired because of our 20 hours flight from Germany to Indonesia. The little boutique hotel is only a 20 min ride away from the airport of Bali. The rooms are modern furnished and very clean which is always important to us 😉 All the people there were extremely friendly and willing to help us with any purpose. Overall our first stay was just perfect, since we had a pool where we were cooling down after our long trip and with only 25€ per night it was cheap as well.

You can find the hotel here: Indah Homestay

2. Victoria Villas (Villa Saké)

For the next 4 days we stayed at the wonderful Villa Saké of Victoria Villas. This definitely was one of the  highlights of our trip. I´ve never seen such an amazing Villa before. The pool was about 12 meters long and we had four bedrooms 😉 After one day, my best friend Uli visited us and we threw a little party with some German friends we met there, too. Thanks again to Rana for having us!

Check out Villa Saké here.

3. Surya Homestay Lembongan

When in Bali, you also have to visit Lembongan, a small neighbour island of Bali. You´ll find some amazing beaches, nice people and cool parties there. For our first night we stayed at a cozy little homestay called Surya. The price-performance ratio (13€/night) was perfect again and we felt really comfortable there. Unfortunately all rooms were already booked so we had to look for another stay on Lembongan. The owner of Surya helped us finding one!

Find the homestay here.

4. DeIndra Nusa Inn

I´d also like to recommend the next homestay on Lembongan to you guys! The rooms were finished only a few days before we arrived, so everything was very clean and new. The price was the same, as we haggled a little with the homestay owner, who was a friend of the owner of our first stay^^

5. Dana Jaya Villas Ubud

Of course we stayed in Ubud, too. Well, our villa of „Dana Jaya Villas“ was some minutes away from the center of Ubud, but we always had scooters traveling through Bali, so this actually didn’t matter to us! All the people there were really nice, and we loved cooling down in the pool after long & hot days in Ubud.

6. Villa Nino

Our last stay was right next to the trendy district of Canggu! (—> still less touristic than other parts of Bali) The Villa we booked via Airbnb was extremely clean and our host did everything for us, so we could have the perfect last days on Bali. With only about 70€ per night for 4 persons, Villa Nino (incl. big pool) was pretty cheap as well. Would definitely recommend staying here when you´re in Bali!
